All About GOD

Find a Church

As a follower of Jesus Christ, itís important to connect with other believers for growth and fellowship. In the Bible, the word "church" simply refers to two or more believers meeting to grow closer to God, loving one another, love others and tell others about the Good News of Jesus Christ. In America, the word "church" has culturally become "a place you go to on the weekend", which is unfortunate. If you are saved or born-again "you" and others like you, ARE THE CHURCH. "Going to Church" will not "save you" any more than going to McDonalds will make you a hamburger! Whether you meet with other believers in a building, home, business, school cafeteria, coffee house, etc is unimportant.

We encourage you to find other believers that are encountering Jesus Christ, getting to know Him personally, learning the Word of God, and living a lifestyle of love and service to others. If you are physically unable to gather with other believers due to a medical condition or are in a country where it is illegal or dangerous, we urge you to reach out online if you cannot find at least one other believer. The Bible says: "where two or three are gathered in my Name, I am in the midst of them."

Below are some website search tools to help you. These "church finders" have been chosen because they claim to adhere to a basic Statement of Faith. However, thereís no guarantee that these gatherings of believers are healthy and growing in the Lord Jesus Christ. Ask other believers about the gathering or group theyíve discovered, created or joined. We do encourage you to personally take time to pray, read Godís Word, and train yourself up in biblical truth, so you can identify good teaching from bad.

WHAT DO YOU THINK? - We have all sinned and deserve God's judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, "Jesus is Lord," you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.

What is your response?
