  • So Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, Benaiah son of Jehoiada, and the king's bodyguard* took Solomon down to Gihon Spring, and Solomon rode on King David's personal mule.1 - 1 Kings 1:38


  • There Zadok the priest took a flask of olive oil from the sacred tent and poured it on Solomon's head. Then the trumpets were blown, and all the people shouted, "Long live King Solomon!" - 1 Kings 1:39


  • The king sent him down to Gihon Spring with Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah son of Jehoiada, protected by the king's bodyguard. They had him ride on the king's own mule, - 1 Kings 1:44


  • and Zadok and Nathan have anointed him as the new king. They have just returned, and the whole city is celebrating and rejoicing. That's what all the noise is about. - 1 Kings 1:45


  • Then the king appointed Benaiah to command the army in place of Joab, and he installed Zadok the priest to take the place of Abiathar. - 1 Kings 2:35


  • and these were his high officials: Azariah son of Zadok was the priest. - 1 Kings 4:2


  • Benaiah son of Jehoiada was commander of the army. Zadok and Abiathar were the priests. - 1 Kings 4:4


  • He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years. His mother was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok. - 2 Kings 15:33


  • Ahitub was the father of Zadok. Zadok was the father of Ahimaaz. - 1 Chronicles 6:8


  • Ahitub was the father of Zadok. Zadok was the father of Shallum. - 1 Chronicles 6:12


  • Zadok, and Ahimaaz. - 1 Chronicles 6:53


  • Azariah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub. Azariah was the chief officer of the house of God. - 1 Chronicles 9:11


  • This also included Zadok, a young warrior, with twenty-two members of his family who were all officers. - 1 Chronicles 12:28


  • Then David summoned the priests, Zadok and Abiathar, and these Levite leaders: Uriel, Asaiah, Joel, Shemaiah, Eliel, and Amminadab. - 1 Chronicles 15:11


  • Meanwhile, David stationed Zadok the priest and his fellow priests at the Tabernacle of the LORD on the hill of Gibeon, where they continued to minister before the LORD. - 1 Chronicles 16:39


  • Zadok son of Ahitub and Ahimelech* son of Abiathar were the priests. Seraiah* was the court secretary.5 - 1 Chronicles 18:16


  • With the help of Zadok, who was a descendant of Eleazar, and of Ahimelech, who was a descendant of Ithamar, David divided Aaron's descendants into groups according to their various duties. - 1 Chronicles 24:3
