(Read World Part 1 First)

  • There is another evil I have seen as I have watched the world go by. Kings and rulers make a grave mistake - Ecclesiastes 10:5

  • In the last days, the Temple of the LORD in Jerusalem will become the most important place on earth. People from all over the world will go there to worship. - Isaiah 2:2

  • But the king of Assyria will not know that it is I who sent him. He will merely think he is attacking my people as part of his plan to conquer the world. - Isaiah 10:7

  • In that day the heir to David's throne* will be a banner of salvation to all the world. The nations will rally to him, for the land where he lives will be a glorious place.2 - Isaiah 11:10

  • In that wonderful day you will sing: "Thank the LORD! Praise his name! Tell the world what he has done. Oh, how mighty he is! - Isaiah 12:4

  • Sing to the LORD, for he has done wonderful things. Make known his praise around the world. - Isaiah 12:5

  • "I, the LORD, will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their sin. I will crush the arrogance of the proud and the haughtiness of the mighty. - Isaiah 13:11

  • The nations of the world will help the LORD's people to return, and those who come to live in their land will serve them. Those who captured Israel will be captured, and Israel will rule over its enemies. - Isaiah 14:2

  • "In the place of the dead* there is excitement over your arrival. World leaders and mighty kings long dead are there to see you.2 - Isaiah 14:9

  • "How you are fallen from heaven, O shining star, son of the morning! You have been thrown down to the earth, you who destroyed the nations of the world. - Isaiah 14:12

  • Everyone there will stare at you and ask, `Can this be the one who shook the earth and the kingdoms of the world? - Isaiah 14:16

  • Is this the one who destroyed the world and made it into a wilderness? Is this the king who demolished the world's greatest cities and had no mercy on his prisoners?' - Isaiah 14:17

  • Kill the children of this sinner! Do not let them rise and conquer the land or rebuild the cities of the world." - Isaiah 14:21

  • I have a plan for the whole earth, for my mighty power reaches throughout the world. - Isaiah 14:26

  • When I raise my battle flag on the mountain, let all the world take notice. When I blow the trumpet, listen! - Isaiah 18:3

  • sailing over deep waters. They brought you grain from Egypt* and harvests from along the Nile. You were the merchandise mart of the world.2 - Isaiah 23:3

  • Who has brought this disaster on Tyre, empire builder and chief trader of the world? - Isaiah 23:8
