  • Our Jewish Christians here at Jerusalem have been told that you are teaching all the Jews living in the Gentile world to turn their backs on the laws of Moses. They say that you teach people not to circumcise their children or follow other Jewish customs. - Acts 21:21

  • Now stand up! For I have appeared to you to appoint you as my servant and my witness. You are to tell the world about this experience and about other times I will appear to you. - Acts 26:16

  • Let me say first of all that your faith in God is becoming known throughout the world. How I thank God through Jesus Christ for each one of you. - Romans 1:8

  • From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see his invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God. - Romans 1:20

  • But no, you won't listen. So you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself because of your stubbornness in refusing to turn from your sin. For there is going to come a day of judgment when God, the just judge of all the world, - Romans 2:5

  • No wonder the Scriptures say, "The world blasphemes the name of God because of you."*1 - Romans 2:24

  • Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is. - Romans 12:2

  • So where does this leave the philosophers, the scholars, and the world's brilliant debaters? God has made them all look foolish and has shown their wisdom to be useless nonsense. - 1 Corinthians 1:20

  • Since God in his wisdom saw to it that the world would never find him through human wisdom, he has used our foolish preaching to save all who believe. - 1 Corinthians 1:21
