  • Your princes* plot conspiracies just as lions stalk their prey. They devour innocent people, seizing treasures and extorting wealth. They increase the number of widows in the land.1 - Ezekiel 22:25


  • They may choose their wives only from among the virgins of Israel or the widows of the priests. They may not marry other widows or divorced women. - Ezekiel 44:22


  • Do not oppress widows, orphans, foreigners, and poor people. And do not make evil plans to harm each other. - Zechariah 7:10
