(Read Water Part 1 First)

  • Are you any better than Thebes,* surrounded by rivers, protected by water on all sides?1 - Nahum 3:8

  • Get ready for the siege! Store up water! Strengthen the defenses! Make bricks to repair the walls! Go into the pits to trample clay, and pack it into molds! - Nahum 3:14

  • For the time will come when all the earth will be filled, as the waters fill the sea, with an awareness of the glory of the LORD. - Habakkuk 2:14

  • The mountains watched and trembled. Onward swept the raging waters. The mighty deep cried out, lifting its hands to the LORD. - Habakkuk 3:10

  • "Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a fishing net that is thrown into the water and gathers fish of every kind. - Matthew 13:47

  • About three o'clock in the morning* Jesus came to them, walking on the water.2 - Matthew 14:25

  • Then Peter called to him, "Lord, if it's really you, tell me to come to you by walking on water." - Matthew 14:28

  • "All right, come," Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. - Matthew 14:29

  • "Lord, have mercy on my son, because he has seizures and suffers terribly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. - Matthew 17:15
