(Read Voice Part 1 First)

  • The voice of the LORD twists mighty oaks* and strips the forests bare. In his Temple everyone shouts, "Glory!"2 - Psalms 29:9

  • I opened to my lover, but he was gone. I yearned for even his voice! I searched for him, but I couldn't find him anywhere. I called to him, but there was no reply. - Song of Solomon 5:6

  • "O my beloved, lingering in the gardens, how wonderful that your companions can listen to your voice. Let me hear it, too!" [Young Woman:] - Song of Solomon 8:13

  • With one voice they all cry out, `Now you are as weak as we are! - Isaiah 14:10

  • Your voice will whisper like a ghost from the earth where you will lie buried. - Isaiah 29:4

  • and you will hear a voice say, "This is the way; turn around and walk here." - Isaiah 30:21

  • And the LORD will make his majestic voice heard. With angry indignation he will bring down his mighty arm on his enemies. It will descend with devouring flames, with cloudbursts, thunderstorms, and huge hailstones, bringing their destruction. - Isaiah 30:30
