  • When this vision came to me, I, Daniel, had been in mourning for three weeks. - Daniel 10:2


  • I, Daniel, am the only one who saw this vision. The men with me saw nothing, but they were suddenly terrified and ran away to hide. - Daniel 10:7


  • So I was left there all alone to watch this amazing vision. My strength left me, my face grew deathly pale, and I felt very weak. - Daniel 10:8


  • Now I am here to explain what will happen to your people in the future, for this vision concerns a time yet to come." - Daniel 10:14


  • Then the one who looked like a man* touched my lips, and I opened my mouth and began to speak. I said to the one standing in front of me, "I am terrified by the vision I have seen, my lord, and I am very weak.3 - Daniel 10:16


  • At that time there will be a general uprising against the king of the south. Lawless ones among your own people will join them in order to fulfill the vision, but they will not succeed. - Daniel 11:14


  • I sent my prophets to warn you with many visions and parables." - Hosea 12:10


  • "Then after I have poured out my rains again, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions. - Joel 2:28


  • This message was given to Amos, a shepherd from the town of Tekoa in Judah. He received this message in visions two years before the earthquake, when Uzziah was king of Judah and Jeroboam II, the son of Jehoash,* was king of Israel.1 - Amos 1:1


  • The Sovereign LORD showed me a vision. I saw him preparing to send a vast swarm of locusts over the land. This was after the king's share had been harvested from the fields and as the main crop was coming up. - Amos 7:1


  • In my vision the locusts ate everything in sight that was green. Then I said, "O Sovereign LORD, please forgive your people! Unless you relent, Israel* will not survive, for we are only a small nation."1 - Amos 7:2


  • So the LORD relented and did not fulfill the vision. "I won't do it," he said. - Amos 7:3


  • Then the Sovereign LORD showed me another vision. I saw him preparing to punish his people with a great fire. The fire had burned up the depths of the sea and was devouring the entire land. - Amos 7:4


  • Then he showed me another vision. I saw the Lord standing beside a wall that had been built using a plumb line. He was checking it with a plumb line to see if it was straight. - Amos 7:7


  • Then the Sovereign LORD showed me another vision. In it I saw a basket filled with ripe fruit. - Amos 8:1


  • Then I saw a vision of the Lord standing beside the altar. He said, "Strike the tops of the Temple columns so hard that the foundation will shake. Smash the columns so the roof will crash down on the people below. Then those who survive will be slaughtered in battle. No one will escape! - Amos 9:1


  • This is the vision that the Sovereign LORD revealed to Obadiah concerning the land of Edom. We have heard a message from the LORD that an ambassador was sent to the nations to say, "Get ready, everyone! Let's assemble our armies and attack Edom!" - Obadiah 1:1
