(Read Truth Part 1 First)

  • Stand your ground, putting on the sturdy belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness. - Ephesians 6:14

  • It is right that I should feel as I do about all of you, for you have a very special place in my heart. We have shared together the blessings of God, both when I was in prison and when I was out, defending the truth and telling others the Good News. - Philippians 1:7

  • But we must be sure to obey the truth we have learned already. - Philippians 3:16

  • You do this because you are looking forward to the joys of heaven--as you have been ever since you first heard the truth of the Good News. - Colossians 1:5

  • This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is changing lives everywhere, just as it changed yours that very first day you heard and understood the truth about God's great kindness to sinners. - Colossians 1:6

  • But you must continue to believe this truth and stand in it firmly. Don't drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News. The Good News has been preached all over the world, and I, Paul, have been appointed by God to proclaim it. - Colossians 1:23

  • Let your roots grow down into him and draw up nourishment from him, so you will grow in faith, strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught. Let your lives overflow with thanksgiving for all he has done. - Colossians 2:7

  • For when we brought you the Good News, it was not only with words but also with power, for the Holy Spirit gave you full assurance that what we said was true. And you know that the way we lived among you was further proof of the truth of our message. - 1 Thessalonians 1:5

  • He will use every kind of wicked deception to fool those who are on their way to destruction because they refuse to believe the truth that would save them. - 2 Thessalonians 2:10

  • Then they will be condemned for not believing the truth and for enjoying the evil they do. - 2 Thessalonians 2:12

  • As for us, we always thank God for you, dear brothers and sisters loved by the Lord. We are thankful that God chose you to be among the first* to experience salvation, a salvation that came through the Spirit who makes you holy and by your belief in the truth.3 - 2 Thessalonians 2:13

  • for he wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. - 1 Timothy 2:4

  • And I have been chosen--this is the absolute truth--as a preacher and apostle to teach the Gentiles about faith and truth. - 1 Timothy 2:7

  • They must be committed to the revealed truths of the Christian faith and must live with a clear conscience. - 1 Timothy 3:9

  • so that if I can't come for a while, you will know how people must conduct themselves in the household of God. This is the church of the living God, which is the pillar and support of the truth. - 1 Timothy 3:15

  • They will say it is wrong to be married and wrong to eat certain foods. But God created those foods to be eaten with thanksgiving by people who know and believe the truth. - 1 Timothy 4:3

  • We work hard and suffer much* in order that people will believe the truth, for our hope is in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and particularly of those who believe.3 - 1 Timothy 4:10
