  • O Israel, how can you say the LORD does not see your troubles? How can you say God refuses to hear your case? - Isaiah 40:27


  • When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. - Isaiah 43:2


  • They carry it around on their shoulders, and when they set it down, it stays there. It cannot even move! And when someone prays to it, there is no answer. It has no power to get anyone out of trouble. - Isaiah 46:7


  • Come closer and listen. I have always told you plainly what would happen so you would have no trouble understanding." And now the Sovereign LORD and his Spirit have sent me with this message: - Isaiah 48:16
