(Read Teaching Part 1 First)

  • Many nations will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the Temple of the God of Israel.* There he will teach us his ways, so that we may obey him." For in those days the LORD's teaching and his word will go out from Jerusalem.1 - Isaiah 2:3


  • Calamity will follow calamity; rumor will follow rumor. They will look in vain for a vision from the prophets. They will receive no teaching from the priests and no counsel from the leaders. - Ezekiel 7:26

  • Jesus traveled throughout Galilee teaching in the synagogues, preaching everywhere the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed people who had every kind of sickness and disease. - Matthew 4:23

  • But anyone who hears my teaching and ignores it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. - Matthew 7:26


  • After Jesus finished speaking, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, - Matthew 7:28


  • Jesus traveled through all the cities and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And wherever he went, he healed people of every sort of disease and illness. - Matthew 9:35


  • When Jesus had finished giving these instructions to his twelve disciples, he went off teaching and preaching in towns throughout the country. - Matthew 11:1

  • Then at last they understood that he wasn't speaking about yeast or bread but about the false teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees. - Matthew 16:12


  • When Jesus returned to the Temple and began teaching, the leading priests and other leaders came up to him. They demanded, "By whose authority did you drive out the merchants from the Temple?* Who gave you such authority?"6 - Matthew 21:23


  • When the crowds heard him, they were impressed with his teaching. - Matthew 22:33


  • Then Jesus said to the crowd, "Am I some dangerous criminal, that you have come armed with swords and clubs to arrest me? Why didn't you arrest me in the Temple? I was there teaching every day. - Matthew 26:55
