(Read Table Part 1 First)

  • The host will say, `Let this person sit here instead.' Then you will be embarrassed and will have to take whatever seat is left at the foot of the table! - Luke 14:9

  • "Do this instead--sit at the foot of the table. Then when your host sees you, he will come and say, `Friend, we have a better place than this for you!' Then you will be honored in front of all the other guests. - Luke 14:10

  • Hearing this, a man sitting at the table with Jesus exclaimed, "What a privilege it would be to have a share in the Kingdom of God!" - Luke 14:15

  • You cannot drink from the cup of the Lord and from the cup of demons, too. You cannot eat at the Lord's Table and at the table of demons, too. - 1 Corinthians 10:21

  • There were two rooms in this tent. In the first room were a lampstand, a table, and loaves of holy bread on the table. This was called the Holy Place. - Hebrews 9:2

  • In that room were a gold incense altar and a wooden chest called the Ark of the Covenant, which was covered with gold on all sides. Inside the Ark were a gold jar containing some manna, Aaron's staff that sprouted leaves, and the stone tablets of the covenant with the Ten Commandments written on them. - Hebrews 9:4
