(Read Table Part 1 First)

  • The LORD told Moses, "Prepare two stone tablets like the first ones. I will write on them the same words that were on the tablets you smashed. - Exodus 34:1

  • So Moses cut two tablets of stone like the first ones. Early in the morning he climbed Mount Sinai as the LORD had told him, carrying the two stone tablets in his hands. - Exodus 34:4

  • Moses was up on the mountain with the LORD forty days and forty nights. In all that time he neither ate nor drank. At that time he wrote the terms of the covenant--the Ten Commandments--on the stone tablets. - Exodus 34:28

  • When Moses came down the mountain carrying the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant,* he wasn't aware that his face glowed because he had spoken to the LORD face to face.1 - Exodus 34:29

  • the table, its carrying poles, and all of its utensils; the Bread of the Presence; - Exodus 35:13

  • Then he made a table out of acacia wood, 3 feet long, 1 feet wide, and 2 feet high. - Exodus 37:10

  • A rim about 3 inches* wide was attached along the edges of the table, and a gold molding ran around the rim.2 - Exodus 37:12

  • Then he cast four rings of gold and attached them to the four table legs - Exodus 37:13

  • Next, using pure gold, he made the plates, dishes, bowls, and pitchers to be placed on the table. These utensils were to be used in pouring out drink offerings. - Exodus 37:16

  • "But here at this table, sitting among us as a friend, is the man who will betray me. - Luke 22:21

  • Normally the master sits at the table and is served by his servants. But not here! For I am your servant. - Luke 22:27

  • to eat and drink at my table in that Kingdom. And you will sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. - Luke 22:30

  • the table and all its utensils; the Bread of the Presence; - Exodus 39:36

  • Then bring in the table, and arrange the utensils on it. And bring in the lampstand, and set up the lamps. - Exodus 40:4

  • He placed inside the Ark the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant,* and then he attached the Ark's carrying poles. He also set the Ark's cover--the place of atonement--on top of it.5 - Exodus 40:20

  • Next he placed the table in the Tabernacle, along the north side of the Holy Place, just outside the inner curtain. - Exodus 40:22

  • And he arranged the Bread of the Presence on the table that stands before the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded. - Exodus 40:23
