(Read Strength Part 1 First)

  • The Sovereign LORD is my strength! He will make me as surefooted as a deer* and bring me safely over the mountains. (For the choir director: This prayer is to be accompanied by stringed instruments.)5 - Habakkuk 3:19

  • Then he said to me, "This is what the LORD says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the LORD Almighty. - Zechariah 4:6

  • "I will strengthen Judah and save Israel*; I will reestablish them because I love them. It will be as though I had never rejected them, for I am the LORD their God, who will hear their cries.2 - Zechariah 10:6

  • And the clans of Judah will say to themselves, `The people of Jerusalem have found strength in the LORD Almighty, their God.' - Zechariah 12:5

  • Just say a simple, `Yes, I will,' or `No, I won't.' Your word is enough. To strengthen your promise with a vow shows that something is wrong.*2 - Matthew 5:37

  • Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man's feet and anklebones were healed and strengthened. - Acts 3:7

  • Afterward he ate some food and was strengthened. Saul stayed with the believers* in Damascus for a few days.3 - Acts 9:19

  • The church then had peace throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria, and it grew in strength and numbers. The believers were walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit. - Acts 9:31

  • where they strengthened the believers. They encouraged them to continue in the faith, reminding them that they must enter into the Kingdom of God through many tribulations. - Acts 14:22

  • Then Judas and Silas, both being prophets, spoke extensively to the Christians, encouraging and strengthening their faith. - Acts 15:32

  • So they traveled throughout Syria and Cilicia to strengthen the churches there. - Acts 15:41

  • So the churches were strengthened in their faith and grew daily in numbers. - Acts 16:5

  • But the weather changed abruptly, and a wind of typhoon strength (a "northeaster," they called it) caught the ship and blew it out to sea. - Acts 27:14
