(Read Spirit Part 1 First)

  • At night they go out among the graves and secret places to worship evil spirits. They also eat pork and other forbidden foods. - Isaiah 65:4

  • "A time is coming," says the LORD, "when I will punish all those who are circumcised in body but not in spirit-- - Jeremiah 9:25

  • Sharpen the arrows! Lift up the shields! For the LORD has stirred up the spirit of the kings of the Medes to march against Babylon and destroy her. This is his vengeance against those who desecrated his Temple. - Jeremiah 51:11

  • I have cried until the tears no longer come. My heart is broken, my spirit poured out, as I see what has happened to my people. Little children and tiny babies are fainting and dying in the streets. - Lamentations 2:11

  • They went in whatever direction the spirit chose, and they moved straight forward in all directions without having to turn around. - Ezekiel 1:12

  • The spirit of the four living beings was in the wheels. So wherever the spirit went, the wheels and the living beings went, too. - Ezekiel 1:20

  • When the cherubim stood still, the wheels also stopped, for the spirit of the living beings was in the wheels. - Ezekiel 10:17

  • Then the Spirit lifted me and brought me over to the east gateway of the LORD's Temple, where I saw twenty-five prominent men of the city. Among them were Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, who were leaders among the people. - Ezekiel 11:1

  • Then the Spirit said to me, "Son of man, these are the men who are responsible for the wicked counsel being given in this city. - Ezekiel 11:2

  • Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon me, and he told me to say, "This is what the LORD says to the people of Israel: Is that what you are saying? Yes, I know it is, for I know every thought that comes into your minds. - Ezekiel 11:5

  • And I will give them singleness of heart and put a new spirit within them. I will take away their hearts of stone and give them tender hearts* instead,2 - Ezekiel 11:19
