  • While she was still speaking with the king, Nathan the prophet arrived. - 1 Kings 1:22

  • And while he was still speaking, Jonathan son of Abiathar the priest arrived. "Come in," Adonijah said to him, "for you are a good man. You must have good news." - 1 Kings 1:42

  • King Jeroboam was very angry with the man of God for speaking against the altar. So he pointed at the man and shouted, "Seize that man!" But instantly the king's hand became paralyzed in that position, and he couldn't pull it back. - 1 Kings 13:4

  • Elihu continued speaking: - Job 36:1

  • After the LORD had finished speaking to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Temanite: "I am angry with you and with your two friends, for you have not been right in what you said about me, as my servant Job was. - Job 42:7

  • Neighbors lie to each other, speaking with flattering lips and insincere hearts. - Psalms 12:2

  • Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts. - Psalms 15:2

  • But as I stood there in silence-- not even speaking of good things-- the turmoil within me grew to the bursting point. - Psalms 39:2
