  • As surely as I live, says the Sovereign LORD, Sodom and her daughters were never as wicked as you and your daughters. - Ezekiel 16:48


  • Sodom's sins were pride, laziness, and gluttony, while the poor and needy suffered outside her door. - Ezekiel 16:49


  • "But someday I will restore the fortunes of Sodom and Samaria, and I will restore you, too. - Ezekiel 16:53


  • Yes, your sisters, Sodom and Samaria, and all their people will be restored, and at that time you also will be restored. - Ezekiel 16:55


  • In your proud days you held Sodom in contempt. - Ezekiel 16:56


  • Then you will remember with shame all the evil you have done. I will make your sisters, Samaria and Sodom, to be your daughters, even though they are not part of our covenant. - Ezekiel 16:61

  • But at the same time, God rescued Lot out of Sodom because he was a good man who was sick of all the immorality and wickedness around him. - 2 Peter 2:7


  • And don't forget the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring towns, which were filled with sexual immorality and every kind of sexual perversion. Those cities were destroyed by fire and are a warning of the eternal fire that will punish all who are evil. - 2 John 1:7
