  • Then the apostles and elders and the whole church in Jerusalem chose delegates, and they sent them to Antioch of Syria with Paul and Barnabas to report on this decision. The men chosen were two of the church leaders*--Judas (also called Barsabbas) and Silas.8 - Acts 15:22

  • Trembling with fear, the jailer called for lights and ran to the dungeon and fell down before Paul and Silas. - Acts 16:29

  • When the police made their report, the city officials were alarmed to learn that Paul and Silas were Roman citizens. - Acts 16:38


  • Paul and Silas then returned to the home of Lydia, where they met with the believers and encouraged them once more before leaving town. - Acts 16:40


  • Now Paul and Silas traveled through the towns of Amphipolis and Apollonia and came to Thessalonica, where there was a Jewish synagogue. - Acts 17:1
