  • The king also said to Shimei, "You surely remember all the wicked things you did to my father, King David. May the LORD punish you for them. - 1 Kings 2:44

  • The Gershonite family units were defined by their lines of descent from Libni* and Shimei, the sons of Gershon.1 - 1 Chronicles 23:7

  • The tenth lot fell to Shimei and twelve of his sons and relatives. - 1 Chronicles 25:17


  • Shimei from Ramah was in charge of the king's vineyards. Zabdi from Shepham was responsible for the grapes and the supplies of wine. - 1 Chronicles 27:27
