(Read Shepherd Part 1 First)

  • All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate them as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. - Matthew 25:32

  • "Tonight all of you will desert me," Jesus told them. "For the Scriptures say, `God* will strike the Shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.'*4 - Matthew 26:31

  • A vast crowd was there as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he taught them many things. - Mark 6:34

  • "All of you will desert me," Jesus told them. "For the Scriptures say, `God* will strike the Shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.'*5 - Mark 14:27

  • That night some shepherds were in the fields outside the village, guarding their flocks of sheep. - Luke 2:8

  • When the angels had returned to heaven, the shepherds said to each other, "Come on, let's go to Bethlehem! Let's see this wonderful thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about." - Luke 2:15

  • All who heard the shepherds' story were astonished, - Luke 2:18

  • The shepherds went back to their fields and flocks, glorifying and praising God for what the angels had told them, and because they had seen the child, just as the angel had said. - Luke 2:20

  • For a shepherd enters through the gate. - John 10:2

  • "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. - John 10:11

  • A hired hand will run when he sees a wolf coming. He will leave the sheep because they aren't his and he isn't their shepherd. And so the wolf attacks them and scatters the flock. - John 10:12

  • "I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me, - John 10:14

  • I have other sheep, too, that are not in this sheepfold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice; and there will be one flock with one shepherd. - John 10:16

  • "And now beware! Be sure that you feed and shepherd God's flock--his church, purchased with his blood--over whom the Holy Spirit has appointed you as elders.*7 - Acts 20:28

  • What soldier has to pay his own expenses? And have you ever heard of a farmer who harvests his crop and doesn't have the right to eat some of it? What shepherd takes care of a flock of sheep and isn't allowed to drink some of the milk? - 1 Corinthians 9:7

  • And now, may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, all that is pleasing to him. Jesus is the great Shepherd of the sheep by an everlasting covenant, signed with his blood. To him be glory forever and ever. Amen. - Hebrews 13:20
