  • In the course of time Judah's wife died. After the time of mourning was over, Judah and his friend Hirah the Adullamite went to Timnah to supervise the shearing of his sheep. - Genesis 38:12

  • The city that once was so proud will become a pasture for sheep and cattle. All sorts of wild animals will settle there. Owls of many kinds will live among the ruins of its palaces, hooting from the gaping windows. Rubble will block all the doorways, and the cedar paneling will lie open to the wind and weather. - Zephaniah 2:14

  • "If your sacrifice for a whole burnt offering is from the flock, bring a male sheep or goat with no physical defects. - Leviticus 1:10
