(Read Seven Part 1 First)

  • And God did not spare the ancient world--except for Noah and his family of seven. Noah warned the world of God's righteous judgment. Then God destroyed the whole world of ungodly people with a vast flood. - 2 Peter 2:5

  • Now Enoch, who lived seven generations after Adam, prophesied about these people. He said, "Look, the Lord is coming with thousands of his holy ones.5 - 2 John 1:14

  • This letter is from John to the seven churches in the province of Asia. Grace and peace from the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come; from the sevenfold Spirit* before his throne;2 - 2 John 1:4

  • It said, "Write down what you see, and send it to the seven churches: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea." - 2 John 1:11

  • When I turned to see who was speaking to me, I saw seven gold lampstands. - 2 John 1:12

  • And from the throne came flashes of lightning and the rumble of thunder. And in front of the throne were seven lampstands with burning flames. They are the seven spirits* of God.2 - Revelation 4:5

  • And I saw a scroll in the right hand of the one who was sitting on the throne. There was writing on the inside and the outside of the scroll, and it was sealed with seven seals. - Revelation 5:1

  • But one of the twenty-four elders said to me, "Stop weeping! Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the heir to David's throne,* has conquered. He is worthy to open the scroll and break its seven seals."1 - Revelation 5:5

  • I looked and I saw a Lamb that had been killed but was now standing between the throne and the four living beings and among the twenty-four elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits* of God that are sent out into every part of the earth.2 - Revelation 5:6

  • As I watched, the Lamb broke the first of the seven seals on the scroll. Then one of the four living beings called out with a voice that sounded like thunder, "Come!" - Revelation 6:1

  • When the Lamb broke the seventh seal, there was silence throughout heaven for about half an hour. - Revelation 8:1

  • And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and they were given seven trumpets. - Revelation 8:2

  • Then the seven angels with the seven trumpets prepared to blow their mighty blasts. - Revelation 8:6
