  • The LORD has given them special skills as jewelers, designers, weavers, and embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet yarn on fine linen cloth. They excel in all the crafts needed for the work. - Exodus 35:35


  • The skilled weavers first made ten sheets from fine linen. One of the craftsmen then embroidered blue, purple, and scarlet cherubim into them. - Exodus 36:8


  • The inner curtain was made of fine linen cloth, and cherubim were skillfully embroidered into it with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn. - Exodus 36:35


  • Then they made another curtain for the entrance to the sacred tent. It was made of fine linen cloth and embroidered with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn. - Exodus 36:37


  • The curtain that covered the entrance to the courtyard was made of fine linen cloth and embroidered with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn. It was 30 feet long and 7 feet high, just like the curtains of the courtyard walls. - Exodus 38:18

  • They also made an elaborate woven sash of the same materials: fine linen cloth; blue, purple, and scarlet yarn; and gold thread, just as the LORD had commanded Moses. - Exodus 39:5

  • So the angel took me in spirit* into the wilderness. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that had seven heads and ten horns, written all over with blasphemies against God.1 - Revelation 17:3

  • The scarlet beast that was alive and then died is the eighth king. He is like the other seven, and he, too, will go to his doom. - Revelation 17:11


  • The scarlet beast and his ten horns--which represent ten kings who will reign with him--all hate the prostitute. They will strip her naked, eat her flesh, and burn her remains with fire. - Revelation 17:16


  • For God has put a plan into their minds, a plan that will carry out his purposes. They will mutually agree to give their authority to the scarlet beast, and so the words of God will be fulfilled. - Revelation 17:17


  • Pomegranates were attached to the bottom edge of the robe. These were finely crafted of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn. - Exodus 39:24
