  • And endurance develops strength of character in us, and character strengthens our confident expectation of salvation. - Romans 5:4

  • Salvation that comes from trusting Christ--which is the message we preach--is already within easy reach. In fact, the Scriptures say, "The message is close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart."*6 - Romans 10:8

  • Did God's people stumble and fall beyond recovery? Of course not! His purpose was to make his salvation available to the Gentiles, and then the Jews would be jealous and want it for themselves. - Romans 11:11

  • Now if the Gentiles were enriched because the Jews turned down God's offer of salvation, think how much greater a blessing the world will share when the Jews finally accept it. - Romans 11:12

  • For since the Jews' rejection meant that God offered salvation to the rest of the world, how much more wonderful their acceptance will be. It will be life for those who were dead! - Romans 11:15

  • Another reason for right living is that you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for the coming of our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. - Romans 13:11

  • The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here. So don't live in darkness. Get rid of your evil deeds. Shed them like dirty clothes. Clothe yourselves with the armor of right living, as those who live in the light. - Romans 13:12

  • But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles,* Christ is the mighty power of God and the wonderful wisdom of God.4 - 1 Corinthians 1:24

  • So when we are weighed down with troubles, it is for your benefit and salvation! For when God comforts us, it is so that we, in turn, can be an encouragement to you. Then you can patiently endure the same things we suffer. - 2 Corinthians 1:6

  • For God says, "At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you."* Indeed, God is ready to help you right now. Today is the day of salvation.2 - 2 Corinthians 6:2

  • For God can use sorrow in our lives to help us turn away from sin and seek salvation. We will never regret that kind of sorrow. But sorrow without repentance is the kind that results in death. - 2 Corinthians 7:10

  • Dear brothers and sisters, I solemnly assure you that the Good News of salvation which I preach is not based on mere human reasoning or logic. - Galatians 1:11

  • Dear brothers and sisters,* if I were still preaching that you must be circumcised--as some say I do--why would the Jews persecute me? The fact that I am still being persecuted proves that I am still preaching salvation through the cross of Christ alone.1 - Galatians 5:11

  • Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. - Ephesians 2:9

  • Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. - Ephesians 6:17

  • May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation*--those good things that are produced in your life by Jesus Christ--for this will bring much glory and praise to God.2 - Philippians 1:11

  • But let us who live in the light think clearly, protected by the body armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation. - 1 Thessalonians 5:8
