And one of them, Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, said, "How can you be so stupid? - John 11:49
This prophecy that Jesus should die for the entire nation came from Caiaphas in his position as high priest. He didn't think of it himself; he was inspired to say it. - John 11:51
Meanwhile, the leading priests and Pharisees had publicly announced that anyone seeing Jesus must report him immediately so they could arrest him. - John 11:57

But one of the household servants of the high priest, a relative of the man whose ear Peter had cut off, asked, "Didn't I see you out there in the olive grove with Jesus?" - John 18:26
"Am I a Jew?" Pilate asked. "Your own people and their leading priests brought you here. Why? What have you done?" - John 18:35
When they saw him, the leading priests and Temple guards began shouting, "Crucify! Crucify!" "You crucify him," Pilate said. "I find him not guilty." - John 19:6
"Away with him," they yelled. "Away with him--crucify him!" "What? Crucify your king?" Pilate asked. "We have no king but Caesar," the leading priests shouted back. - John 19:15
Then the leading priests said to Pilate, "Change it from `The King of the Jews' to `He said, I am King of the Jews.' " - John 19:21
While Peter and John were speaking to the people, the leading priests, the captain of the Temple guard, and some of the Sadducees came over to them. - Acts 4:1
