Pride leads to disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. - Proverbs 11:2
Pride leads to arguments; those who take advice are wise. - Proverbs 13:10
The LORD despises pride; be assured that the proud will be punished. - Proverbs 16:5
Pride goes before destruction, and haughtiness before a fall. - Proverbs 16:18
Grandchildren are the crowning glory of the aged; parents are the pride of their children. - Proverbs 17:6
Pride ends in humiliation, while humility brings honor. - Proverbs 29:23
Finishing is better than starting. Patience is better than pride. - Ecclesiastes 7:8
The day is coming when your pride will be brought low and the LORD alone will be exalted. - Isaiah 2:11
The arrogance of all people will be brought low. Their pride will lie in the dust. The LORD alone will be exalted! - Isaiah 2:17
