(Read Praise Part 1 First)

  • What? Is this really true? Don't you have your own homes for eating and drinking? Or do you really want to disgrace the church of God and shame the poor? What am I supposed to say about these things? Do you want me to praise you? Well, I certainly do not! - 1 Corinthians 11:22

  • For if you praise God only in the spirit, how can those who don't understand you praise God along with you? How can they join you in giving thanks when they don't understand what you are saying? - 1 Corinthians 14:16

  • All praise to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the source* of every mercy and the God who comforts us.2 - 2 Corinthians 1:3

  • We serve God whether people honor us or despise us, whether they slander us or praise us. We are honest, but they call us impostors. - 2 Corinthians 6:8

  • We are also sending another brother with Titus. He is highly praised in all the churches as a preacher of the Good News. - 2 Corinthians 8:18

  • God, the Father of our Lord Jesus, who is to be praised forever, knows I tell the truth. - 2 Corinthians 11:31

  • How we praise God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we belong to Christ. - Ephesians 1:3

  • So we praise God for the wonderful kindness he has poured out on us because we belong to his dearly loved Son. - Ephesians 1:6

  • God's purpose was that we who were the first to trust in Christ should praise our glorious God. - Ephesians 1:12

  • The Spirit is God's guarantee that he will give us everything he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. This is just one more reason for us to praise our glorious God. - Ephesians 1:14

  • May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation*--those good things that are produced in your life by Jesus Christ--for this will bring much glory and praise to God.2 - Philippians 1:11

  • And now, dear brothers and sisters, let me say one more thing as I close this letter. Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. - Philippians 4:8

  • How grateful I am, and how I praise the Lord that you are concerned about me again. I know you have always been concerned for me, but for a while you didn't have the chance to help me. - Philippians 4:10

  • As for praise, we have never asked for it from you or anyone else. - 1 Thessalonians 2:6

  • when he comes to receive glory and praise from his holy people. And you will be among those praising him on that day, for you believed what we testified about him. - 2 Thessalonians 1:10

  • For he said to God, "I will declare the wonder of your name to my brothers and sisters.* I will praise you among all your people."6 - Hebrews 2:12

  • But Jesus deserves far more glory than Moses, just as a person who builds a fine house deserves more praise than the house itself. - Hebrews 3:3
