  • Violence will disappear from your land; the desolation and destruction of war will end. Salvation will surround you like city walls, and praise will be on the lips of all who enter there. - Isaiah 60:18

  • To all who mourn in Israel,* he will give beauty for ashes, joy instead of mourning, praise instead of despair. For the LORD has planted them like strong and graceful oaks for his own glory.3 - Isaiah 61:3

  • The Sovereign LORD will show his justice to the nations of the world. Everyone will praise him! His righteousness will be like a garden in early spring, filled with young plants springing up everywhere. - Isaiah 61:11

  • Give the LORD no rest until he makes Jerusalem the object of praise throughout the earth. - Isaiah 62:7

  • I will tell of the LORD's unfailing love. I will praise the LORD for all he has done. I will rejoice in his great goodness to Israel, which he has granted according to his mercy and love. - Isaiah 63:7

  • The holy, beautiful Temple where our ancestors praised you has been burned down, and all the things of beauty are destroyed. - Isaiah 64:11

  • and if you will swear by my name alone, and begin to live good, honest lives and uphold justice, then you will be a blessing to the nations of the world, and all people will come and praise my name." - Jeremiah 4:2

  • O LORD, you alone can heal me; you alone can save. My praises are for you alone! - Jeremiah 17:14

  • Now I will sing out my thanks to the LORD! Praise the LORD! For though I was poor and needy, he delivered me from my oppressors. - Jeremiah 20:13

  • Now this is what the LORD says: "Sing with joy for Israel*! Shout for the greatest of nations! Shout out with praise and joy: `Save your people, O LORD, the remnant of Israel!'2 - Jeremiah 31:7

  • "How Babylon* is fallen--great Babylon, praised throughout the earth! The world can scarcely believe its eyes at her fall!2 - Jeremiah 51:41

  • Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard a loud rumbling sound behind me. (May the glory of the LORD be praised in his place!)*1 - Ezekiel 3:12

  • That night the secret was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven, - Daniel 2:19

  • I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors, for you have given me wisdom and strength. You have told me what we asked of you and revealed to us what the king demanded." - Daniel 2:23

  • "After this time had passed, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven. My sanity returned, and I praised and worshiped the Most High and honored the one who lives forever. His rule is everlasting, and his kingdom is eternal. - Daniel 4:34

  • "Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and glorify and honor the King of heaven. All his acts are just and true, and he is able to humble those who are proud." - Daniel 4:37

  • Bring your petitions, and return to the LORD. Say to him, "Forgive all our sins and graciously receive us, so that we may offer you the sacrifice of praise. - Hosea 14:2
