  • For when we brought you the Good News, it was not only with words but also with power, for the Holy Spirit gave you full assurance that what we said was true. And you know that the way we lived among you was further proof of the truth of our message. - 1 Thessalonians 1:5


  • They will be punished with everlasting destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from his glorious power - 2 Thessalonians 1:9


  • And so we keep on praying for you, that our God will make you worthy of the life to which he called you. And we pray that God, by his power, will fulfill all your good intentions and faithful deeds. - 2 Thessalonians 1:11


  • This evil man will come to do the work of Satan with counterfeit power and signs and miracles. - 2 Thessalonians 2:9


  • He alone can never die, and he lives in light so brilliant that no human can approach him. No one has ever seen him, nor ever will. To him be honor and power forever. Amen. - 1 Timothy 6:16

  • For the word of God is full of living power. It is sharper than the sharpest knife, cutting deep into our innermost thoughts and desires. It exposes us for what we really are. - Hebrews 4:12


  • who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the power of the age to come-- - Hebrews 6:5


  • And without question, the person who has the power to bless is always greater than the person who is blessed. - Hebrews 7:7


  • He became a priest, not by meeting the old requirement of belonging to the tribe of Levi, but by the power of a life that cannot be destroyed. - Hebrews 7:16


  • Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our hearts from deeds that lead to death so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins. - Hebrews 9:14


  • If that had been necessary, he would have had to die again and again, ever since the world began. But no! He came once for all time, at the end of the age, to remove the power of sin forever by his sacrificial death for us. - Hebrews 9:26
