  • "Since this is the ram for the ordination of Aaron and his sons, take the fat of the ram, including the fat tail and the fat that covers the internal organs. Also, take the long lobe of the liver, the two kidneys with their fat, and the right thigh. - Exodus 29:22

  • Then take the breast of Aaron's ordination ram, and lift it up in the LORD's presence as a special gift to him. Afterward keep it for yourself. - Exodus 29:26

  • "Set aside as holy the parts of the ordination ram that belong to Aaron and his sons. This includes the breast and the thigh that were lifted up before the LORD in the ordination ceremony. - Exodus 29:27

  • "Take the ram used in the ordination ceremony, and boil its meat in a sacred place. - Exodus 29:31

  • They alone may eat the meat and bread used for their atonement in the ordination ceremony. The ordinary people may not eat them, for these things are set apart and holy. - Exodus 29:33

  • If any of the ordination meat or bread remains until the morning, it must be burned. It may not be eaten, for it is holy. - Exodus 29:34

  • "This is how you will ordain Aaron and his sons to their offices. The ordination ceremony will go on for seven days. - Exodus 29:35

  • These are the instructions for the whole burnt offering, the grain offering, the sin offering, the guilt offering, the ordination offering, and the peace offering. - Leviticus 7:37

  • Next Moses presented the second ram, which was the ram of ordination. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head - Leviticus 8:22

  • Moses then took all the offerings back and burned them on the altar on top of the burnt offering as an ordination offering. It was an offering given to the LORD by fire, very pleasing to the LORD. - Leviticus 8:28

  • Then Moses took the breast and lifted it up in the LORD's presence. This was Moses' share of the ram of ordination, just as the LORD had commanded him. - Leviticus 8:29

  • Then Moses said to Aaron and his sons, "Boil the rest of the meat at the Tabernacle entrance, and eat it along with the bread that is in the basket of ordination offerings, just as I commanded you. - Leviticus 8:31

  • Do not leave the Tabernacle entrance for seven days, for that is the time it will take to complete the ordination ceremony. - Leviticus 8:33

  • After the ordination ceremony, on the eighth day, Moses called together Aaron and his sons and the leaders of Israel. - Leviticus 9:1
