  • When Jesus arrived in Capernaum, a Roman officer came and pleaded with him, - Matthew 8:5


  • Then the officer said, "Lord, I am not worthy to have you come into my home. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed! - Matthew 8:8


  • I know, because I am under the authority of my superior officers and I have authority over my soldiers. I only need to say, `Go,' and they go, or `Come,' and they come. And if I say to my slaves, `Do this or that,' they do it." - Matthew 8:9


  • Then Jesus said to the Roman officer, "Go on home. What you have believed has happened." And the young servant was healed that same hour. - Matthew 8:13


  • The Roman officer and the other soldiers at the crucifixion were terrified by the earthquake and all that had happened. They said, "Truly, this was the Son of God!" - Matthew 27:54


  • Herodias's chance finally came. It was Herod's birthday, and he gave a party for his palace aides, army officers, and the leading citizens of Galilee. - Mark 6:21


  • When the Roman officer who stood facing him saw how he had died, he exclaimed, "Truly, this was the Son of God!" - Mark 15:39


  • Pilate couldn't believe that Jesus was already dead, so he called for the Roman military officer in charge and asked him. - Mark 15:44

  • If you are on the way to court and you meet your accuser, try to settle the matter before it reaches the judge, or you may be sentenced and handed over to an officer and thrown in jail. - Luke 12:58


  • Then the father realized it was the same time that Jesus had told him, "Your son will live." And the officer and his entire household believed in Jesus. - John 4:53


  • So the soldiers, their commanding officer, and the Temple guards arrested Jesus and tied him up. - John 18:12
