  • The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here. So don't live in darkness. Get rid of your evil deeds. Shed them like dirty clothes. Clothe yourselves with the armor of right living, as those who live in the light. - Romans 13:12


  • For this is what the Lord himself said, and I pass it on to you just as I received it. On the night when he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took a loaf of bread, - 1 Corinthians 11:23


  • We have been beaten, been put in jail, faced angry mobs, worked to exhaustion, endured sleepless nights, and gone without food. - 2 Corinthians 6:5


  • Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked. Once I spent a whole night and a day adrift at sea. - 2 Corinthians 11:25


  • I have lived with weariness and pain and sleepless nights. Often I have been hungry and thirsty and have gone without food. Often I have shivered with cold, without enough clothing to keep me warm. - 2 Corinthians 11:27


  • Don't you remember, dear brothers and sisters, how hard we worked among you? Night and day we toiled to earn a living so that our expenses would not be a burden to anyone there as we preached God's Good News among you. - 1 Thessalonians 2:9


  • Night and day we pray earnestly for you, asking God to let us see you again to fill up anything that may still be missing in your faith. - 1 Thessalonians 3:10


  • For you know quite well that the day of the Lord will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night. - 1 Thessalonians 5:2

  • Each of these living beings had six wings, and their wings were covered with eyes, inside and out. Day after day and night after night they keep on saying, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty-- the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come." - Revelation 4:8


  • That is why they are standing in front of the throne of God, serving him day and night in his Temple. And he who sits on the throne will live among them and shelter them. - Revelation 7:15
