  • He was given authority, honor, and royal power over all the nations of the world, so that people of every race and nation and language would obey him. His rule is eternal--it will never end. His kingdom will never be destroyed. - Daniel 7:14


  • In view of all your faithful mercies, Lord, please turn your furious anger away from your city of Jerusalem, your holy mountain. All the neighboring nations mock Jerusalem and your people because of our sins and the sins of our ancestors. - Daniel 9:16


  • He will enter the glorious land of Israel, and many nations will fall, but Moab, Edom, and the best part of Ammon will escape. - Daniel 11:41


  • "At that time Michael, the archangel* who stands guard over your nation, will arise. Then there will be a time of anguish greater than any since nations first came into existence. But at that time every one of your people whose name is written in the book will be rescued.1 - Daniel 12:1


  • Yet the time will come when Israel will prosper and become a great nation. In that day its people will be like the sands of the seashore--too many to count! Then, at the place where they were told, `You are not my people,' it will be said, `You are children of the living God.' - Hosea 1:10

  • He will reply, "Look! I am sending you grain and wine and olive oil, enough to satisfy your needs. You will no longer be an object of mockery among the surrounding nations. - Joel 2:19


  • "I will gather the armies of the world into the valley of Jehoshaphat.* There I will judge them for harming my people, for scattering my inheritance among the nations, and for dividing up my land.1 - Joel 3:2


  • I will sell your sons and daughters to the people of Judah, and they will sell them to the peoples of Arabia,* a nation far away. I, the LORD, have spoken!"3 - Joel 3:8


  • Say to the nations far and wide: "Get ready for war! Call out your best warriors! Let all your fighting men advance for the attack! - Joel 3:9


  • Come quickly, all you nations everywhere! Gather together in the valley." And now, O LORD, call out your warriors! - Joel 3:11


  • "Let the nations be called to arms. Let them march to the valley of Jehoshaphat. There I, the LORD, will sit to pronounce judgment on them all. - Joel 3:12


  • You drink wine by the bowlful, and you perfume yourselves with exotic fragrances, caring nothing at all that your nation* is going to ruin.2 - Amos 6:6
