  • The next day* Jesus' mother was a guest at a wedding celebration in the village of Cana in Galilee.1 - John 2:1


  • The wine supply ran out during the festivities, so Jesus' mother spoke to him about the problem. "They have no more wine," she told him. - John 2:3


  • But his mother told the servants, "Do whatever he tells you." - John 2:5

  • "What do you mean?" exclaimed Nicodemus. "How can an old man go back into his mother's womb and be born again?" - John 3:4


  • They said, "This is Jesus, the son of Joseph. We know his father and mother. How can he say, `I came down from heaven'?" - John 6:42


  • Standing near the cross were Jesus' mother, and his mother's sister, Mary (the wife of Clopas), and Mary Magdalene. - John 19:25
