(Read Money Part 1 First)

  • So Moses collected redemption money for the firstborn sons of Israel who exceeded the number of Levites. - Numbers 3:49

  • And Moses gave the redemption money to Aaron and his sons as the LORD had commanded. - Numbers 3:51

  • Balak's messengers, officials of both Moab and Midian, set out and took money with them to pay Balaam to curse Israel. They went to Balaam and urgently explained to him what Balak wanted. - Numbers 22:7

  • If so, you may sell the tithe portion of your crops and herds and take the money to the place the LORD your God chooses. - Deuteronomy 14:25

  • When you arrive, use the money to buy anything you want--an ox, a sheep, some wine, or beer. Then feast there in the presence of the LORD your God and celebrate with your household. - Deuteronomy 14:26

  • They will lend money to you, not you to them. They will be the head, and you will be the tail! - Deuteronomy 28:44

  • But when Israel cried out to the LORD for help, the LORD raised up a man to rescue them. His name was Ehud son of Gera, of the tribe of Benjamin, who was left-handed. The Israelites sent Ehud to deliver their tax money to King Eglon of Moab. - Judges 3:15

  • He brought the tax money to Eglon, who was very fat. - Judges 3:17

  • After delivering the payment, Ehud sent home those who had carried the tax money. - Judges 3:18

  • Delilah realized he had finally told her the truth, so she sent for the Philistine leaders. "Come back one more time," she said, "for he has told me everything." So the Philistine leaders returned and brought the money with them. - Judges 16:18

  • He returned the money to her, and she said, "I now dedicate these silver coins to the LORD. In honor of my son, I will have an image carved and an idol cast." - Judges 17:3

  • Then all of your descendants will bow before his descendants, begging for money and food. `Please,' they will say, `give us jobs among the priests so we will have enough to eat.' " - 1 Samuel 2:36

  • But they were not like their father, for they were greedy for money. They accepted bribes and perverted justice. - 1 Samuel 8:3

  • David also conquered the land of Moab. He made the people lie down on the ground in a row, and he measured them off in groups with a length of rope. He measured off two groups to be executed for every one group to be spared. The Moabites who were spared became David's servants and brought him tribute money. - 2 Samuel 8:2

  • Then he placed several army garrisons in Damascus, the Aramean capital, and the Arameans became David's subjects and brought him tribute money. So the LORD gave David victory wherever he went. - 2 Samuel 8:6
