(Read Mercy Part 1 First)

  • The man replied, "The one who showed him mercy." Then Jesus said, "Yes, now go and do the same." - Luke 10:37

  • crying out, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!" - Luke 17:13

  • So he began shouting, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" - Luke 18:38

  • The crowds ahead of Jesus tried to hush the man, but he only shouted louder, "Son of David, have mercy on me!" - Luke 18:39

  • For God said to Moses, "I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose."*8 - Romans 9:15

  • So receiving God's promise is not up to us. We can't get it by choosing it or working hard for it. God will show mercy to anyone he chooses. - Romans 9:16

  • So you see, God shows mercy to some just because he wants to, and he chooses to make some people refuse to listen. - Romans 9:18

  • He also has the right to pour out the riches of his glory upon those he prepared to be the objects of his mercy-- - Romans 9:23

  • Once, you Gentiles were rebels against God, but when the Jews refused his mercy, God was merciful to you instead. - Romans 11:30

  • And now, in the same way, the Jews are the rebels, and God's mercy has come to you. But someday they,* too, will share in God's mercy.4 - Romans 11:31

  • For God has imprisoned all people in their own disobedience so he could have mercy on everyone. - Romans 11:32

  • All praise to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the source* of every mercy and the God who comforts us.2 - 2 Corinthians 1:3

  • And so, since God in his mercy has given us this wonderful ministry, we never give up. - 2 Corinthians 4:1

  • I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who in his love and mercy called you to share the eternal life he gives through Christ. You are already following a different way - Galatians 1:6

  • But then something happened! For it pleased God in his kindness to choose me and call me, even before I was born! What undeserved mercy! - Galatians 1:15

  • May God's mercy and peace be upon all those who live by this principle. They are the new people of God.*3 - Galatians 6:16

  • But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so very much, - Ephesians 2:4
