(Read Kohath Part 1 First)

  • The remaining descendants of Kohath received ten towns from the territory of the half-tribe of Manasseh by means of sacred lots. - 1 Chronicles 6:61

  • The descendants of Kohath received from the territory of Ephraim these towns, each with its surrounding pasturelands: - 1 Chronicles 6:66

  • The remaining descendants of Kohath were assigned these towns from the territory of the half-tribe of Manasseh: Aner and Bileam, each with its pasturelands. - 1 Chronicles 6:70

  • And some members of the clan of Kohath were in charge of preparing the bread to be set on the table each Sabbath day. - 1 Chronicles 9:32

  • There were 120 from the clan of Kohath, with Uriel as their leader. - 1 Chronicles 15:5

  • Then David divided the Levites into divisions named after the clans descended from the three sons of Levi--Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. - 1 Chronicles 23:6

  • The descendants of Kohath included Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel. - 1 Chronicles 23:12

  • Then the Levites from the clans of Kohath and Korah stood to praise the LORD, the God of Israel, with a very loud shout. - 2 Chronicles 20:19

  • Then these Levites got right to work: From the clan of Kohath: Mahath son of Amasai and Joel son of Azariah. From the clan of Merari: Kish son of Abdi and Azariah son of Jehallelel. From the clan of Gershon: Joah son of Zimmah and Eden son of Joah. - 2 Chronicles 29:12

  • The workers served faithfully under the leadership of Jahath and Obadiah, Levites of the Merarite clan, and Zechariah and Meshullam, Levites of the Kohathite clan. Other Levites, all of whom were skilled musicians, - 2 Chronicles 34:12
