  • "Though Israel is a prostitute, may Judah avoid such guilt. O Judah, do not join with those who worship me insincerely at Gilgal and at Beth-aven.* Their worship is mere pretense as they take oaths in the LORD's name.3 - Hosea 4:15


  • "The arrogance of Israel* testifies against her; she will stumble under her load of guilt. Judah, too, will fall with her.2 - Hosea 5:5


  • "The leaders of Judah have become as bad as thieves.* So I will pour my anger down on them like a waterfall.5 - Hosea 5:10


  • I will destroy Israel as a moth consumes wool. I will sap Judah's strength as dry rot weakens wood. - Hosea 5:12

  • "Israel* is like a trained heifer accustomed to treading out the grain--an easy job that she loves. Now I will put a heavy yoke on her tender neck. I will drive her in front of the plow. Israel* and Judah must now break up the hard ground; their days of ease are gone.3 - Hosea 10:11


  • Israel surrounds me with lies and deceit, but Judah still walks with God and is faithful to the Holy One.*3 - Hosea 11:12


  • Now the LORD is bringing a lawsuit against Judah. He is about to punish Jacob* for all his deceitful ways.2 - Hosea 12:2


  • "At that time, when I restore the prosperity of Judah and Jerusalem," says the LORD, - Joel 3:1


  • You have sold the people of Judah and Jerusalem to the Greeks,* who took them far from their homeland.2 - Joel 3:6


  • I will sell your sons and daughters to the people of Judah, and they will sell them to the peoples of Arabia,* a nation far away. I, the LORD, have spoken!"3 - Joel 3:8


  • In that day the mountains will drip with sweet wine, and the hills will flow with milk. Water will fill the dry streambeds of Judah, and a fountain will burst forth from the LORD's Temple, watering the arid valley of acacias.*4 - Joel 3:18


  • Egypt will become a wasteland and Edom a wilderness, because they attacked Judah and killed her innocent people. - Joel 3:19
