  • All who were there spoke well of him and were amazed by the gracious words that fell from his lips. "How can this be?" they asked. "Isn't this Joseph's son?" - Luke 4:22


  • Now there was a good and righteous man named Joseph. He was a member of the Jewish high council, - Luke 23:50


  • Philip went off to look for Nathanael and told him, "We have found the very person Moses and the prophets wrote about! His name is Jesus, the son of Joseph from Nazareth." - John 1:45


  • Eventually he came to the Samaritan village of Sychar, near the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. - John 4:5

  • But then a new king came to the throne of Egypt who knew nothing about Joseph. - Acts 7:18


  • It was by faith that Jacob, when he was old and dying, blessed each of Joseph's sons and bowed in worship as he leaned on his staff. - Hebrews 11:21


  • And it was by faith that Joseph, when he was about to die, confidently spoke of God's bringing the people of Israel out of Egypt. He was so sure of it that he commanded them to carry his bones with them when they left! - Hebrews 11:22
