Then Jehu killed all of Ahab's relatives living in Jezreel and all his important officials, personal friends, and priests. So Ahab was left without a single survivor. - 2 Kings 10:11

When the Israelites in the Jezreel Valley saw that their army had been routed and that Saul and his sons were dead, they abandoned their towns and fled. So the Philistines moved in and occupied their towns. - 1 Chronicles 10:7
Joram returned to Jezreel to recover from his wounds, and King Ahaziah* of Judah went to Jezreel to visit him.3 - 2 Chronicles 22:6
