(Read Jesus Part 1 First)

  • He does not need to offer sacrifices every day like the other high priests. They did this for their own sins first and then for the sins of the people. But Jesus did this once for all when he sacrificed himself on the cross. - Hebrews 7:27

  • And so, dear brothers and sisters,* we can boldly enter heaven's Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus.6 - Hebrews 10:19

  • We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from start to finish.* He was willing to die a shameful death on the cross because of the joy he knew would be his afterward. Now he is seated in the place of highest honor beside God's throne in heaven.1 - Hebrews 12:2

  • You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people, and to the sprinkled blood, which graciously forgives instead of crying out for vengeance as the blood of Abel did. - Hebrews 12:24

  • So also Jesus suffered and died outside the city gates in order to make his people holy by shedding his own blood. - Hebrews 13:12

  • With Jesus' help, let us continually offer our sacrifice of praise to God by proclaiming the glory of his name. - Hebrews 13:15

  • And now, may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, all that is pleasing to him. Jesus is the great Shepherd of the sheep by an everlasting covenant, signed with his blood. To him be glory forever and ever. Amen. - Hebrews 13:20

  • All honor to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is by his boundless mercy that God has given us the privilege of being born again. Now we live with a wonderful expectation because Jesus Christ rose again from the dead. - 1 Peter 1:3

  • This letter is from Simon* Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ. I am writing to all of you who share the same precious faith we have, faith given to us by Jesus Christ, our God and Savior, who makes us right with God.1 - 2 Peter 1:1

  • May God bless you with his special favor and wonderful peace as you come to know Jesus, our God and Lord,* better and better.2 - 2 Peter 1:2

  • As we know Jesus better, his divine power gives us everything we need for living a godly life. He has called us to receive his own glory and goodness! - 2 Peter 1:3

  • But if we are living in the light of God's presence, just as Christ is, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from every sin. - 1 John 1:7

  • I am writing to you, my dear children, because your sins have been forgiven because of Jesus. - 1 John 2:12

  • And who is the great liar? The one who says that Jesus is not the Christ. Such people are antichrists, for they have denied the Father and the Son. - 1 John 2:22

  • And you know that Jesus came to take away our sins, for there is no sin in him. - 1 John 3:5

  • If a prophet does not acknowledge Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist. You have heard that he is going to come into the world, and he is already here. - 1 John 4:3

  • All who proclaim that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God. - 1 John 4:15
