(Read Jesus Part 1 First)

  • Jesus replied, "The time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory. - John 12:23

  • Then Jesus told them, "The voice was for your benefit, not mine. - John 12:30

  • Jesus replied, "My light will shine out for you just a little while longer. Walk in it while you can, so you will not stumble when the darkness falls. If you walk in the darkness, you cannot see where you are going. - John 12:35

  • Believe in the light while there is still time; then you will become children of the light." After saying these things, Jesus went away and was hidden from them. - John 12:36

  • Isaiah was referring to Jesus when he made this prediction, because he was given a vision of the Messiah's glory. - John 12:41

  • Jesus shouted to the crowds, "If you trust me, you are really trusting God who sent me. - John 12:44

  • Before the Passover celebration, Jesus knew that his hour had come to leave this world and return to his Father. He now showed the disciples the full extent of his love.*1 - John 13:1

  • It was time for supper, and the Devil had already enticed Judas, son of Simon Iscariot, to carry out his plan to betray Jesus. - John 13:2

  • Jesus knew that the Father had given him authority over everything and that he had come from God and would return to God. - John 13:3

  • Jesus replied, "You don't understand now why I am doing it; someday you will." - John 13:7

  • "No," Peter protested, "you will never wash my feet!" Jesus replied, "But if I don't wash you, you won't belong to me." - John 13:8

  • Jesus replied, "A person who has bathed all over does not need to wash, except for the feet,* to be entirely clean. And you are clean, but that isn't true of everyone here."2 - John 13:10

  • For Jesus knew who would betray him. That is what he meant when he said, "Not all of you are clean." - John 13:11

  • Now Jesus was in great anguish of spirit, and he exclaimed, "The truth is, one of you will betray me!" - John 13:21

  • One of Jesus' disciples, the one Jesus loved, was sitting next to Jesus at the table.*4 - John 13:23

  • Leaning toward Jesus, he asked, "Lord, who is it?" - John 13:25

  • Jesus said, "It is the one to whom I give the bread dipped in the sauce." And when he had dipped it, he gave it to Judas, son of Simon Iscariot. - John 13:26
