  • Moses said this about the tribes of Zebulun and Issachar*: "May the people of Zebulun prosper in their expeditions abroad. May the people of Issachar prosper at home in their tents.6 - Deuteronomy 33:18

  • The land south of the ravine belonged to Ephraim, and the land north of the ravine belonged to Manasseh, with the Mediterranean Sea forming Manasseh's western border. North of Manasseh was the territory of Asher, and to the east was the territory of Issachar. - Joshua 17:10

  • From the territory of Issachar, they were given Kedesh, Daberath, - 1 Chronicles 6:72

  • The four sons of Issachar were Tola, Puah, Jashub, and Shimron. - 1 Chronicles 7:1

  • The total number of men available for military service from all the clans of the tribe of Issachar was 87,000. All of them were listed in their tribal genealogy. - 1 Chronicles 7:5

  • From the tribe of Issachar, there were 200 leaders of the tribe with their relatives. All these men understood the temper of the times and knew the best course for Israel to take. - 1 Chronicles 12:32
