  • The waters covered all the chariots and charioteers--the entire army of Pharaoh. Of all the Egyptians who had chased the Israelites into the sea, not a single one survived. - Exodus 14:28


  • This was how the LORD rescued Israel from the Egyptians that day. And the Israelites could see the bodies of the Egyptians washed up on the shore. - Exodus 14:30


  • The Israelites were puzzled when they saw it. "What is it?" they asked. And Moses told them, "It is the food the LORD has given you. - Exodus 16:15


  • Moses commanded Joshua, "Call the Israelites to arms, and fight the army of Amalek. Tomorrow, I will stand at the top of the hill with the staff of God in my hand." - Exodus 17:9


  • As long as Moses held up the staff with his hands, the Israelites had the advantage. But whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites gained the upper hand. - Exodus 17:11

  • Whenever the Israelites planted their crops, marauders from Midian, Amalek, and the people of the east would attack Israel, - Judges 6:3


  • camping in the land and destroying crops as far away as Gaza. They left the Israelites with nothing to eat, taking all the sheep, oxen, and donkeys. - Judges 6:4


  • So Israel was reduced to starvation by the Midianites. Then the Israelites cried out to the LORD for help. - Judges 6:6


  • the LORD sent a prophet to the Israelites. He said, "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: I brought you up out of slavery in Egypt - Judges 6:8
