  • He was afraid and said, "What an awesome place this is! It is none other than the house of God--the gateway to heaven!" - Genesis 28:17

  • All these men were under the direction of their fathers as they made music at the house of the LORD. Their responsibilities included the playing of cymbals, lyres, and harps at the house of God. Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman reported directly to the king. - 1 Chronicles 25:6


  • Other Levites, led by Ahijah, were in charge of the treasuries of the house of God and the storerooms. - 1 Chronicles 26:20
