  • On that day a person outside the house* must not go into the house to pack. A person in the field must not return to town.6 - Luke 17:31


  • "Yes," Jesus replied, "and I assure you, everyone who has given up house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the Kingdom of God, - Luke 18:29


  • Zacchaeus quickly climbed down and took Jesus to his house in great excitement and joy. - Luke 19:6

  • Then the father realized it was the same time that Jesus had told him, "Your son will live." And the officer and his entire household believed in Jesus. - John 4:53


  • When the people who were at the house trying to console Mary saw her leave so hastily, they assumed she was going to Lazarus's grave to weep. So they followed her there. - John 11:31


  • Then Mary took a twelve-ounce jar* of expensive perfume made from essence of nard, and she anointed Jesus' feet with it and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with fragrance.1 - John 12:3


  • The guards and the household servants were standing around a charcoal fire they had made because it was cold. And Peter stood there with them, warming himself. - John 18:18


  • But one of the household servants of the high priest, a relative of the man whose ear Peter had cut off, asked, "Didn't I see you out there in the olive grove with Jesus?" - John 18:26


  • Then they went to the upstairs room of the house where they were staying. Here is the list of those who were present: Peter, John, James, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, James (son of Alphaeus), Simon (the Zealot), and Judas (son of James). - Acts 1:13

  • He was a devout man who feared the God of Israel, as did his entire household. He gave generously to charity and was a man who regularly prayed to God. - Acts 10:2
