  • But anyone who hears my teaching and ignores it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. - Matthew 7:26

  • When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will fall with a mighty crash." - Matthew 7:27

  • Let me illustrate this. You can't enter a strong man's house and rob him without first tying him up. Only then can his house be robbed!*8 - Matthew 12:29

  • Later that same day, Jesus left the house and went down to the shore, - Matthew 13:1

  • Then, leaving the crowds outside, Jesus went into the house. His disciples said, "Please explain the story of the weeds in the field." - Matthew 13:36

  • "Of course he does," Peter replied. Then he went into the house to talk to Jesus about it. But before he had a chance to speak, Jesus asked him, "What do you think, Peter*? Do kings tax their own people or the foreigners they have conquered?"4 - Matthew 17:25

  • And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or property, for my sake, will receive a hundred times as much in return and will have eternal life. - Matthew 19:29

  • And now look, your house is left to you, empty and desolate. - Matthew 23:38

  • A person outside the house* must not go inside to pack.3 - Matthew 24:17

  • "Know this: A homeowner who knew exactly when a burglar was coming would stay alert and not permit the house to be broken into. - Matthew 24:43

  • "Who is a faithful, sensible servant, to whom the master can give the responsibility of managing his household and feeding his family? - Matthew 24:45

  • "As you go into the city," he told them, "you will see a certain man. Tell him, `The Teacher says, My time has come, and I will eat the Passover meal with my disciples at your house.' " - Matthew 26:18
