  • Then he overlaid the rest of the Temple's interior with pure gold, and he made gold chains to protect the entrance to the Most Holy Place. - 1 Kings 6:21


  • So he finished overlaying the entire Temple with gold, including the altar that belonged to the Most Holy Place. - 1 Kings 6:22


  • the gold lampstands, five on the south and five on the north, in front of the Most Holy Place, the flower decorations, lamps, and tongs, all of gold, - 1 Kings 7:49

  • These poles were so long that their ends could be seen from the front entrance of the Temple's main room--the Holy Place--but not from outside it. They are still there to this day. - 1 Kings 8:8


  • Only Aaron and his descendants served as priests. They presented the offerings on the altar of burnt offering and the altar of incense, and they performed all the other duties related to the Most Holy Place. They made atonement for Israel by following all the commands that Moses, the servant of God, had given them. - 1 Chronicles 6:49


  • The Most Holy Place was thirty feet wide, corresponding to the width of the Temple, and it was also thirty feet deep. Its interior was overlaid with about twenty-three tons* of pure gold.5 - 2 Chronicles 3:8


  • Solomon made two figures shaped like cherubim and overlaid them with gold. These were placed in the Most Holy Place. - 2 Chronicles 3:10


  • Across the entrance of the Most Holy Place, Solomon hung a curtain made of fine linen and blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, with figures of cherubim embroidered on it. - 2 Chronicles 3:14

  • Then the priests left the Holy Place. All the priests who were present had purified themselves, whether or not they were on duty that day. - 2 Chronicles 5:11


  • Then stand in your appointed holy places and help the families assigned to you as they bring their offerings to the Temple. - 2 Chronicles 35:5


  • "But now we have been given a brief moment of grace, for the LORD our God has allowed a few of us to survive as a remnant. He has given us security in this holy place. Our God has brightened our eyes and granted us some relief from our slavery. - Ezra 9:8
