(Read Hebron Part 1 First)

  • He had reigned over Israel for forty years, seven of them in Hebron and thirty-three in Jerusalem. - 1 Kings 2:11

  • The oldest son of Caleb, the brother of Jerahmeel, was Mesha, the father of Ziph. Caleb's second son was Mareshah, the father of Hebron.*9 - 1 Chronicles 2:42

  • These were the sons who were born to David in Hebron: The oldest was Amnon, whose mother was Ahinoam of Jezreel. The second was Kileab,* whose mother was Abigail from Carmel.1 - 1 Chronicles 3:1

  • These six sons were born to David in Hebron, where he reigned seven and a half years. Then David moved the capital to Jerusalem, where he reigned another thirty-three years. - 1 Chronicles 3:4

  • These are the numbers of armed warriors who joined David at Hebron. They were all eager to see David become king instead of Saul, just as the LORD had promised. - 1 Chronicles 12:23

  • All these men came in battle array to Hebron with the single purpose of making David the king of Israel. In fact, all Israel agreed that David should be their king. - 1 Chronicles 12:38

  • There were 80 descendants of Hebron, with Eliel as their leader. - 1 Chronicles 15:9

  • The descendants of Kohath included Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel. - 1 Chronicles 23:12

  • The descendants of Hebron included Jeriah (the family leader), Amariah (the second), Jahaziel (the third), and Jekameam (the fourth). - 1 Chronicles 23:19

  • From the descendants of Hebron, Jeriah was the leader,* Amariah was second-in-command, Jahaziel was third, and Jekameam was fourth.3 - 1 Chronicles 24:23
