  • He had reigned over Israel for forty years, seven of them in Hebron and thirty-three in Jerusalem. - 1 Kings 2:11

  • All these men came in battle array to Hebron with the single purpose of making David the king of Israel. In fact, all Israel agreed that David should be their king. - 1 Chronicles 12:38


  • There were 80 descendants of Hebron, with Eliel as their leader. - 1 Chronicles 15:9


  • The descendants of Kohath included Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel. - 1 Chronicles 23:12


  • The descendants of Hebron included Jeriah (the family leader), Amariah (the second), Jahaziel (the third), and Jekameam (the fourth). - 1 Chronicles 23:19


  • From the descendants of Hebron, Jeriah was the leader,* Amariah was second-in-command, Jahaziel was third, and Jekameam was fourth.3 - 1 Chronicles 24:23
