  • You slave owners must be just and fair to your slaves. Remember that you also have a Master--in heaven. - Colossians 4:1


  • And they speak of how you are looking forward to the coming of God's Son from heaven--Jesus, whom God raised from the dead. He is the one who has rescued us from the terrors of the coming judgment. - 1 Thessalonians 1:10


  • For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the call of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, all the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. - 1 Thessalonians 4:16


  • And God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted and also for us when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. He will come with his mighty angels, - 2 Thessalonians 1:7


  • Without question, this is the great mystery of our faith: Christ* appeared in the flesh and was shown to be righteous by the Spirit.* He was seen by angels and was announced to the nations. He was believed on in the world and was taken up into heaven.*5 - 1 Timothy 3:16


  • For at the right time Christ will be revealed from heaven by the blessed and only almighty God, the King of kings and Lord of lords. - 1 Timothy 6:15


  • Yes, and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly Kingdom. To God be the glory forever and ever. Amen. - 2 Timothy 4:18


  • The Son reflects God's own glory, and everything about him represents God exactly. He sustains the universe by the mighty power of his command. After he died to cleanse us from the stain of sin, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God of heaven. - Philemon 1:3


  • And, "Lord, in the beginning you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.5 - Philemon 1:10


  • And so, dear brothers and sisters who belong to God* and are bound for heaven, think about this Jesus whom we declare to be God's Messenger and High Priest.1 - Hebrews 3:1


  • That is why we have a great High Priest who has gone to heaven, Jesus the Son of God. Let us cling to him and never stop trusting him. - Hebrews 4:14


  • For it is impossible to restore to repentance those who were once enlightened--those who have experienced the good things of heaven and shared in the Holy Spirit, - Hebrews 6:4


  • This confidence is like a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain of heaven into God's inner sanctuary. - Hebrews 6:19


  • He is the kind of high priest we need because he is holy and blameless, unstained by sin. He has now been set apart from sinners, and he has been given the highest place of honor in heaven. - Hebrews 7:26


  • Here is the main point: Our High Priest sat down in the place of highest honor in heaven, at God's right hand. - Hebrews 8:1


  • They serve in a place of worship that is only a copy, a shadow of the real one in heaven. For when Moses was getting ready to build the Tabernacle, God gave him this warning: "Be sure that you make everything according to the design I have shown you here on the mountain."*1 - Hebrews 8:5


  • So Christ has now become the High Priest over all the good things that have come. He has entered that great, perfect sanctuary in heaven, not made by human hands and not part of this created world. - Hebrews 9:11
